Rabbits (ウサギ, Usagi), also known as bunnies, are a species of villagers in the Animal Crossing series. They are noted for their straight, upright ears.

There are twenty-two rabbit villagers, of which twelve are female and ten are male. Eight are peppy, five are lazy, two are snooty, two are jock, two are smug, one is cranky, one is normal, and one is sisterly.

Every rabbit appears in New Leaf and New Horizons, with exception of Sasha in the former, who was introduced in the Version 2.0.0 update for New Horizons.

Quick Answers

What are the different personality types of the rabbit villagers in Animal Crossing? toggle section
In Animal Crossing, rabbit villagers display various personalities: peppy, cranky, jock, lazy, smug, snooty, normal, and sisterly. Peppy rabbits, such as Bunnie and Winnie, are easily upset and forgetful but relate well with lazy, normal, jock, sisterly, and other peppy villagers. They may, however, irritate cranky and snooty villagers. Smug rabbits like O'Hare often boast about their coolness and get along with lazy, normal, snooty, and peppy villagers.
