Home requests, villager and special?[]
Does it make any difference if the requester is a Villager or a special character, at least within this game? Qwertyxp2000 II (talk | contribs) 08:39, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
- It seems that special characters only unlock two items (their photo and their poster) for decorating purposes, unlike villagers who unlock a wide variety of items depending on their house request. And you can only summon special characters with amiibo, since they won't be wandering around Happy Home Paradise island, like regular villagers. That's how I understand it, I haven't played too much HHP yet. Also, villagers have a favorite song (it's always one of their unlocked items, and it plays automatically when a stereo is placed down by the player), but special characters don't seem to have one. - Two separate tables makes sense. It could work with one table, but the "Theme" column would have to be filled with either "Vacation-Home Concept" (placeholder until you choose a name) or "N/A," and the "Furniture" column would also be filled with "N/A." If anything, the special characters might be better as a bulleted list since the table wouldn't offer much other than pretty pictures, but it wouldn't be a big deal either way. Content unlock requirements[]
A handful of unlock requirements are wrong, incomplete or the feature is just not listed. Contrarily to what the page says now, some features have requirements much more obscure than just completing a set amount of homes; a more accurate list of features and their requirements according to datamines can be found here and it would be great to carry over the relevant content.
