Anchovy is a fish that has a size of 2. I don't know the amount it sells for.

The Sturgeon has a fish size of 4, or 5. I don't know my scales, but it is big.

The squid has a size of 3.

Why is the tuna icon a Blue Marlin?

Southern Hemisphere information needs to be confirmed by someone else, information was put in that doesn't add up with the information I've seen so I believe southern and northern hemispheres have different seasonalities for fish and probably bugs.

Fixed a lot of information, didn't want to add in fish that we don't know the order to yet and would like to keep it how they'd be registered in the critterpedia. Used information from here.

i'm in southern the creaters are the same, just the months are fipped aka north salmon are sept and south there march.  also i have no idea how to talk

Gamersa222 (talk) 02:20, March 21, 2020 (UTC)

I still have a bunch of my fish so i will do  a price check on the ones i can, also i'm going to try andfill out north and flip the months for south.

Gamersa222 (talk) 04:31, March 21, 2020 (UTC)

Saddled Bichir info MUST be wrong for Northern Hemisphere?! It was a Summer fish in New Leaf, yet its months in the Northern section correspond to SOUTHERN'S Summer.

Are the Char and Golden Trout months correct? They have the same months for both northern and southern hemisphere.

Since I can't edit the table for some reason I will leave it here I guess:

Crawfish is Size 2, not 3.

Tilapia is Size 3

Edit: I found out how to edit the table.

hey, I'm totally new to this and have never edited or even used the backend of a wiki. I just wanted to say that I caught a stringfish today in a second level pond, so do what you will with that information

Cherry salmon can be found on all parts of the clifftop rivers, not just the "pond" area on the top elevation. They are just more common in the pond. Gywenne (talk) 02:44, March 28, 2020 (UTC)

Latest change here

https://animalcrossing.fandom.com/wiki/Fish_(New_Horizons)?oldid=415968 seems to have misplaced the "Location" and "Shadow Size" columns for fish in the southern hemipshere (now seeing a bunch of "Location: 1" and "Shadow Size: River" etc on the southern hemisphere tab)

First contrib, unfamiliar with protocol, hope this is okay

So, about fish. Having just caught the Coelacanth, rain is an important factor. As, on it's information page, shown here the rain is what allows you to even be able to catch it. Not sure how to add this information, so I thought I'd mention it here.

Formatting of monthly guides[]

Since this is actually an active talk page, I'll inquire here: does anyone have a problem with adding <tabber> markup to better delineate the monthly pages, as per my change to Guide:January fish list (New Horizons)? DKqwerty (talk) 21:19, April 28, 2020 (UTC)

Frog[]

I just saw a recent edit that the Frog appears in the Pond when it's raining - but I'm pretty sure that we caught one last night during clear weather. Can anyone else confirm?

Chayashida (talk) 20:17, May 2, 2020 (UTC)chayashidaChayashida (talk) 20:17, May 2, 2020 (UTC)

Rain is not a requirement to catch a frog. LordMoorden (talk) 20:23, May 2, 2020 (UTC)

Nibble Fish[]

I've noticed an inconsistency regarding the Nibble Fish. On its own page, its size is reported as size 2 ("Despite being quite small sized, it is not caught from tiny shadows like goldfish, instead it is found under "small" sized shadows which is shared with crucian carp and sweetfish."), but on here it's reported as size 1. I can't confirm either way because I've been trying for several hours to catch one without success, but anyone who has, you may wanna correct this. Rainingmuses (talk) 13:42, June 21, 2020 (UTC)

The size in New Horizons is indeed 1, the main article presumably hasn't been updated yet. LordMoorden (talk) 13:48, June 21, 2020 (UTC)

I just did a quick fix, it seems that error came from someone setting the size as "Smallest" and someone fixing that to "Small" when it should have been Tiny Gammix (talk) 17:57, June 28, 2020 (UTC)
