Gained Nook Miles differs for some rewards[]
For example, the first time I obtained the Golden Rod, I received 300 miles. When I obtained the Golden Rod again under a different character, I earned 1,000 miles instead. Davidjl123 (talk) 22:28, April 13, 2020 (UTC)
Hey -
This is because the first time you obtained the golden rod, that was the first tool you redeemed, but the second time It was the third. I did some testing and found that the order you obtain the tool doesn't matter - the rewards will always come in the same order (I have the axe, slingshot, and watering can, and the rewards were always 300->500->1000 no matter which order I actually redeemed them in). A similar system is used in "Fruit roots." The wiki may need to be updated to reflect this. Nsta8 (talk) 16:01, April 14, 2020 (UTC)
