“Are you eating well? I've been snacking a bit. I told my diet to take a long walk off a short pier.”
― Tasha, Animal Forest e+
Tasha (ナターシャ,Natāsha?, Natasha) is a snootysquirrel from the Animal Crossing series. She made her debut in Animal Forest e+, which would be her only appearance in any Animal Crossing series media until she made a reappearance in New Leaf. This was later followed by an appearance in Pocket Camp, as one of several villagers unlockable through Blathers' Treasure Trek. She can only move into a village if the player has her e-reader card.
Tasha returned to the series in New Leaf, as part of the Welcome amiibo update. By scanning amiibo cards, this villager can be met via the campground and invited to the town.
Tasha is a squirrel with black fur and blue outlines, along with white inside of her ears and on the lower part of her face. Her appearance is slightly similar to Blaire, another snooty squirrel villager. The way that her eyes are half closed hints that she is uninterested, reflecting on her snooty personality. Her color scheme makes her look like a skunk. She initially wears the Leather Jerkin in Animal Forest e+, and the Shearling Coat in New Leaf. Her tail is different to most of the other squirrel villagers with the curved tail.
Below is a brief description of the snooty personality. For more information, click here.
Tasha has a snooty personality, which means she loves make-up and gossiping. As a snooty villager, Tasha will first appear rude and arrogant towards the player, often talking about herself and her own experiences. She also speaks about the style and appearance of other villagers, usually other female villagers such as normal, peppy, and other snooty villagers. She will soon warm up to the player, confiding in them about their own feelings but still keeping subtly rude. Tasha will not get along with lazy villagers due to them not caring about their appearance or the lazy villagers hating what she eats, and she won't get along with jockvillagers because they will question her on her physical appearance and they won't worry about fashion. However, she will get along with cranky villagers due to their similar rude personalities, and usually normal villagers as well.
