Tiansheng (テンシン Tenshin?) is a jock monkey villager who first appeared in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update after being revealed in the October 15, 2021 ACNH Direct. His design takes inspiration from the Monkey King (Sun Wukong) from the classical Chinese novel Journey to the West and his self-proclaimed title Qí Tiān Dà Shèng.

As with most other villagers with the jock personality, Tiansheng has the fitness hobby.

Appearance[]

Much like Sun Wukong, Tiansheng is mainly orange with a white face and hands. The insides of his ears are light orange, his sclerae are yellow, his pupils are black, and the rim of his eyes are red. By default, wears a gold circlet and a Dragon Suit. Also, he is one of the notable few villagers in New Horizons to sport footwear.

Tiansheng has a jock personality and has a great interest in sports and bodybuilding. Jock villagers are hyperactive and motivated, but often come across as self-centered and dense. As a jock villager, Tiansheng is very interested in his hobby, and may compete against the player at catching bugs and fish. Jock villagers get along with peppy, cranky, and sisterly villagers, but conflict with the laid-back lifestyle of lazy villagers. Snooty villagers may also be difficult to get along with for Tiansheng.

Tiansheng's preferred theme is harmonious, and he primarily gives steel as a reward. His profile reads:

  • Tiansheng is one of the eight new villagers that came with New Horizons's 2.0 update, along with Ione, Shino, Quinn, Petri, Cephalobot, Marlo, and Sasha.
    • He, along with the other New Horizons newcomers, was added to Pocket Camp in an update that was released at the same time as the release of New Horizons's 2.0 update.
  • Tiansheng's request, Peach Paradise, is based on the Peaches of Immortality, of which are a major element in Journey to the West.
  • He shares his birthday with the cranky hippo Rocco. Both of them have a birthday of August 18.
