Oh, hello there! It's Qwertyxp2000 the second. I joined Animal Crossing Wiki on April 30th 2020, with initially no experience in the Animal Crossing games. Joined the wiki because I got interested in Animal Crossing after hearing about Isabelle, in turn from a meme about her and Doom Guy, and in turn based on a Bloons TD 6 YouTuber named "ISAB". First started a game of Animal Crossing on July 21st 2020, starting with New Leaf, since 6:21pm (seedling cermony time).

History

Joining Animal Crossing Wiki (March 2020 - July 2020)

First became particularly interested in Animal Crossing on around early March 2020, with particular interest in Isabelle. Back then, I found a meme about Isabelle loading a shotgun after a demon says out "disagreeable" ideas. During that time, I was also interested in a Twitch streamer and YouTuber named "ISAB". He plays Bloons TD 6. Before then, I did not hear much about Animal Crossing, or even not at all.

March 10th 2020 or so (perhaps starting since March 8th while testing out the custom challenge) was the date where I created a BTD6 challenge called "ISAB the Animal Crossing dog", although at the time I didn't quite understand much about the Animal Crossing franchise, since I at the time didn't realise that Isabelle is definitely more specifically a Shih Tzu. This challenge was specifically for a Twitch streamer and YouTuber named "ISAB" (YouTube channel), and he played it on 18th May 2020 or so. Because I enjoyed his videos over the years, I felt it would be nice to associate him with Isabelle from Animal Crossing, as he (the Twitch streamer and YouTuber) is pretty calm relative to most streamers and is always willing to accept other people's thoughts in the best way possible.

In regards to playing the game, I do hope I can play New Leaf on an emulator, but it seems not possible as of now due to social constraints. Similarly goes for Pocket Camp on my mobile devices.

When it comes to wiki editing on Animal Crossing Wiki, it's mostly small fixes and adjustments to articles. I had been editing wikis since 2014, and have an expansive history of experience on a number of major wikis, and it can be reflected by having administrator rights for both My Singing Monsters Wiki and Bloons Wiki, both as one of the top editors on those two wikis. However, major expansions to articles on Animal Crossing Wiki is usually not viable option based on my current circumstances, because I have very limited game experience with any of the Animal Crossing series. Most of it is purely based on social media sharing sites, such as some of YouTube's videos, that I watch about Animal Crossing.

All I am waiting for right now is to have enough time to get myself some Animal Crossing stuff. Maybe have enough time to spend a day with Animal Crossing games, perhaps. And I do hope that I do well enough in my university studies that I am able to convince my parents to get me an Isabelle plush. I just gotta work hard on my studies to get there by making good notes and organizing my whole schoolworks.

Beginning Animal Crossing Games, Firstly New Leaf (July 2020)

Actually, I finally spent my time on 21st July 2020, specifically starting from 5:56pm, to start playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf on an emulator. Got Static, Pango, and Simon as the first ones who met me at the train station. Just had to get some early time in order to get started on that stuff. Better now than never to start playing.

Naturally, Simon is one of my favorite AC villagers in my town of "ISABland", having already enjoying monkeys because of Bloons TD 6 (ooh yes, fitting right?). I as the mayor, Ron, had planted the seedling on around 6:21pm on July 21st 2020. Here, I also saw two other villagers at the sapling ceremony: Dora and Tiffany. They stand on the right and left of Static, respectively, while Pango and Simon stand on the left and right to the right-hand side, respectively.

I set my birthday to "June 26th" (no, that's not my real-world birthday, sneaky kid; this date is representative of my original "Steamed Hams But Windows XP" video on my YouTube channel). Also did kind of not gotten sure about how to move my character, but after seeing an emulator guide halfway during the prologue stage of the game, I felt great with this new interface. Still trying to figure out how to properly utilize a fishing rod though.

Ah yes, also was selling some cherries to get enough to buy the fishing rod. And a 200 bells coin from a tree I shook. Also ran away from a bunch of wasps, and I ran to the train station! Nice.

Now, for Day 2. Caught a crucian carp this morning. Sold more cherries to Reese and got a shovel too to plant some more cherry seedlings. My town does need more plants, I think they said when I asked Isabelle what the citizens think of the town. Changed the tune to something similar to the Windows XP Startup sound in G major key. Changed flag to one of the few default patterns. Still need to figure out how to make a custom pattern though...

Broke up a rock with a shovel and found some purple crystal I had not quite figured out what it does. Struck a rock two consecutive times twice (I didn't quite get the rock hitting technique right first time...), for 1100 bells net. With 500 bells, I got a net. Also bought myself a fortune cookie and got #27, the Fire Bar (yay, Mario stuff). With 240 bells, I got a pair of those yellow glasses. Caught a giant cicada and a cicada shell this afternoon. The fish and bugs were all donated to Blathers, because I always want to donate any new findings as soon as possible.

Shook a tree and found an hourglass. Instead of directly selling it, I am hoping the hourglass will sell for 300 bells. After all, sometimes waiting for someone to buy it may be more efficient than just directly selling it off the go. Also liked Simon's new shirt, and gave me a shirt of his own. I like that new shirt I got from him. Decided to keep that one.

Day 3 was not much. I forgot to go back to Nookling Junction to buy myself the newest stuff in the store, particularly another Fortune Cookie. But hey, it has been confirmed that Hippeux is in my town! Didn't meet him because I didn't have enough time; was too busy talking to Simon that time. Also got some kind of tree beetle that I forgotten the name of... Miyama stag? Only had 10 or so minute to play though... Maybe next time I'll meet Hippeux again..

Day 4 was full of stuff. Got a letter from "your mom" plus a piece of furniture. Talked to Simon and he wanted a large furniture or something, like a table or something, but it's probably for his icecream or something... Pango was asking for a butterfly or something. Finally had the chance to talk to Hippeux. Caught a frog in a pond. Bitten by a mosquito. Caught a barbel steed. Planted more cherry seedlings. Caught a mosquito. Sent a lot of stuff to the museum. Traded a mosquito for a shirt with Hippeux (worth it). Tiffany came and wanted to buy something from me at a low cost. Bought a majong desk but decided to leave it sitting in Re-Tail because I didn't need it. And sold some other stuff to Reese, including more crystals. Earned lots more bells through shoveling rocks. Dora came and bought a common chair after asking about whether she should buy it or not. And bought some David statue at Redd's. No duplicate species caught so far, besides the second mosquito that I traded away with Hippeux.

Day 5 was a bit more active. Got the mail from Redd, but when I took the statue to the museum (alongside a bunch of other stuff I brought in), it was a fake. So I just displayed the David statue in my tent (yeah, it's still a tent...). Talked to Static again, and he got me a toaster for giving him a cherry. Put on display the toaster in Re-Tail for 500 bells pricetag, just to make it cool to display the toaster. Talked to Sylvia, the newest villager in town, although she's only just unpacking her stuff. Caught a bunch of other bugs on the way. Failed trying to catch another fish (gees, fishing in itself is a mastery thing). Caught a butterfly too. Nothing else is new right now... Lol, still haven't caught the meme fish species out there yet. Also planted three apple trees, where apples are non-native.

Actually, Day 5 is really active. Did a huge amount at night too, as well as in the afternoon. Did yet more trading and selling, as well as donating more to Blathers. More bugs mostly, and a carp I caught today. Also bought an oil lamp for Tiffany, and she got me a spotted lamp or something. I put on Re-Tail, then Pango just came in and wanted it. The pricetag was 690, more than the 640 I bought for the oil lamp, and then I got 6000 bells balance. Before then, also did post a letter to Simon with a random note about BTD6, and also deposited 5200 bells into the bank, just because. Sold lots and lots of mosquitoes. And got stung by a bee (more like a wasp). Also made two unique pro designs from the Able Sisters. Made a Windows XP one and a BTD6 Flying Fortress one. Man, I wanna show these designs right now.

Day 6 was exciting. Lots and lots of brown cicadas and a few other cicada species. I have learnt the ways of bug catching so far, at least for tree species and flying ones. Again failed more fishing, urrk, I wish I could fish better... Also met more for Sylvia. Caught a flea too. Donated more bugs and fossils to him, and no fossil brought to him was a duplicate except for one a few days ago. Also, bought so much stuff from Nookling Junction just to see the entire store sell out, but unfortunately the paper and wrappings do not sell out if I buy just one units worth. And I set up my tent. And paid off all the housing debt so that I can finally build town!

Also at evening, did lots of bug catching, and even bought an 8000 king's beard, but it didn't look good on me. But yeah, I can live with trying to sell it off. Got a bunch of clothes. All of them looked good with that jester cap that I am wearing. I picked the green long-sleeves over the others though, though the dice tank and the starry shirt also looks good. Two were from doing good deeds with other villagers, and one from a nice trade for a bug I already caught.

Day 7 is also big. Got house built. Saw some mail from two of the people I sent letter to. Simon seems happy. Sylvia was grateful for the gift I sent her. Isabelle came over and showed me some basics of house designing. Placed all the best clothes inside my house for storage. Witnessed the construction of what is likely to be the new gardening store. Isabelle told me that I am ready for processing. I got to meet Goose for the first time. Nice guy he seems. Simon went and bought my super cheap 69-bell Spa Chair, because I felt it looked ugly to me. Also received an even better shirt after trading off a campfire with Pango. Went to Labelle and bought a bunch of hats for a good price, and decided to just display them in my house. My house is messy, but at least nobody is gonna visit my house or is wanting to visit my house.

Day 8, and the Gardening Store opened. Planted some more perfect cherry trees because today was the day when those perfect cherries bloomed. Well, more money generation for me. Dug more fossils and donated yet more of them to Blathers. None are duds though, which is great to see in terms of making Blathers happy. Also got to explore around Happy Home Academy, but there is of course no one at the moment. Ah well, but at least I saw Digby around. Not much to talk about here... Also bought a bunch of stuff from Gardening Store. Got an axe, a seedling, and one of the flower packs.

Day 9, and I got access to Public Works. Worked on building a bridge, allowing a decent alternate route towards Re-Tail and the Plaza. Lots of Isabelle talking today. Meet Tiffany again, after a long time without meeting her. Also found lots of fossils, some duplicate and some new. Made a few letters with gifts but forgot to send them to the post office. Also forgot to get the post office to pay off yet more Tom Nook housing debt. In the real world, Tom Nook would likely increase remaining loan debt by a considerable percentage (via loan interest) every week or so, but fortunately this doesn't happen, so I can just leave my bells sitting in my wallet. I wonder if New Horizons might do this kind of debt interest growth system, but I don't think Animal Crossing is that focused on targeting responsible adults.

Day 10, and not much is new. Posted the letters like I was supposed to do on Day 9. Paid a huge chunk of debt from my entire wallet, leaving just between 9,000-10,000 bells left. But I did end up picked up a lost item and eventually found it to be Simon's lost bag. He in turn gave me a mango. Then I planted it on the beach. Hopefully tropical plants can grow on the beachside. If not, I made a major blunder, and therefore would have lost the opportunity to plant these rare fruit trees.

Day 11. Yep, blunder for putting mango tree on the beach... Lots of fossils found recently, huh. Maybe the lucky black cat sure is lucky. Announcement of Nookling Junction closing on August 1st. Also saw the construction of Kicks store. And did some more paying off loan business.

Day 12 is big. August 1st. Aurora moved in. Lots of construction. Kicks and the new Nookling building. Got lots of bells through various digging and bug-catching. Lots of cicadas mostly. Also found one new species of locust. Paid off my home loan in full today, but still no sign of Tortimer. Maybe he comes after the day that I pay off the loan in full. Would've been a great time to spend a holiday at Tortimer Island. Oh well, got lots and lots of bells. At least 44,000 net, at least it is the amount I stored in the bank. Mostly from bug catching. Also donated a number of bugs, including the final one being Emperor Butterfly. Mantis and another cicada type too, but both are quite common.

Hmm... that morning of Day 12 had Katrina, so I went in... but then after paying her, I found the future to become a bad fortune, something like an otter opening a clam shell only to find nothing, or something along those lines as she foresees. Hmm... dunno if it did much, cos I got lots of bells today, but I guess I played for at least a few hours today.

Day 13. Oh my. Met Tortimer for the first time, and met him again at the dock as he stated before, and he talked about the upcoming Tortimer Island trips. Fireworks will start at 7pm. And upgrading Nookling Junction to the newest store is completed. Wow. Just logged in a few minutes before the show starts, hearing the 6pm theme and then just about starting the Fireworks Show theme. I saw the Town Hall was closed for the night because of the ongoing Fireworks Show event. Learned how to look at the horizons, thanks to my villagers, and boy it sure is fun to watch fireworks. Too bad I didn't send in my custom designs before the show started. Got to witness T&T Mart after 7pm. Cool new small but modern look. And a catalog! Awesome. Spend on three Redd's Cookies and got a few prizes, all of which are pretty meh to be honest. Nice. But it's all about the fun, right? Also planted yet more apple trees, because apple trees are cooler than cherry trees. Sold more cherries.

Day 14. Kicks has opened. Suddenly, old buddy Dr. Shrunk came in to my door to talk to me. Or more like he stood around my house, I think. Dunno, footage might tell me. Got a bunch of villagers to sign. None of them seemed to object. Forgot to list them all, but everyone except Sylvia and Dora were who I actively went and talked to for signatures. Simon was the last for me to get a signature. Yay. None of my villagers seem to have objected. Dr. Shrunk sure was happy. And went to Kicks to get some shoes, and yes I got some. Just as I was about to go to the dock to Tortimer Island, I found a large shadow of a fish. Got my fishing rod ready, and I finally caught a shark! Wow. Didn't expect that. Gotta time those bites right, kind of like a metronome, not too early and not too late, I suppose. Then I ran straight to the museum to donate. Donated this and a T-Rex skull or something. Static asked me how nice he is, and I said he's really nice, which factually speaking seems to match. Caught lots of stuff at Tortimer Island, but not so much because it is a Monday. Maybe more if it wasn't a Monday...

Phew! Day 15 is super big. Bought a Mona Lisa from Redd, but then I realized last minute that it was a fake. But whatever, more for me (just don't bother showing that to Blathers). Redecorated my house with that Flying Fortress design of mine in my house. Exploring designs. And finally figured out how to put on a custom shirt or a custom wall/floor design. Went to Tortimer Island again and went to do some tours just because. Initially, it seems so vast and wide variety these tours, but I got used to a number of them. I went ore-hunting, hammering, and flower-hunting. Didn't do the fishing one because I just didn't. Had to try these three tours to get some experience on these stuff, but my main incentive was for that captain's hat. Like a Monkey Sub from BTD6. It was only 15 medals, what less could I ask for? I went back and donated a new type of rare beetle (couldn't quite remember the name, but footage would likely tell me what it was), sold a bunch of Emperor Butterflies and another already donated rare beetle for a good price, and planted a bunch of flowers from what I brought in from those flower events. Also decided to change my old jester outfit to a captain's hat alongside a custom Flying Fortress shirt design.

Day 16. Did much of my session time at the night. Planted lots of apple trees. Sold some more cherries. Planted some more perfect cherry trees. After all, it's possible to dig out tree stumps with my trusty shovel, and it is also possible to simply re-plant those nice perfect cherry trees from the top to the bottom from scratch just from the remaining perfect cherries that aren't spoiled, or at least that is what I see based on the wiki information about perfect cherries... And perhaps by then I will find out what would really happen, but 7th harvest of each perfect cherry tree has not occurred as of yet. I recall Day 15 where I found some trees of a certain outer Tortimer Island where the cherry trees have rotten cherries throughout. Paid off tiny debt from Tom Nook, so that I could get exactly 20,000 bells total after selling a bunch of bugs just to get right over the 20,000 mark to try out a new ordinance. Simon tried to want to leave ISABland but I said he should stay further. But then he said that he will stay for longer. Was doing an ordinance, and was originally going to go for Late Night, but realized the Wealthy ordinance was available, so I picked that over Late Night, since I'm not that much a late-night person. Plus, Reese opens till 11pm from 9am, so no rush to sell anything. Isabelle told me that the ordinance begins on the next day, so no hurry though. Hopefully this ordinance will make a big difference to the town. One time after meeting up with Isabelle, I was casually running and walking around exploring the variety within my town. And just as I was casually walking around and I found Phineas. He was standing there. And he gave me an award! I do remember searching him on the wiki about what he does, and also from a certain YouTube video of a no-commentary walkthrough of New Leaf, but boy, earning an award face-to-face within my own point of view in my own game is such an awesomest feeling. Nice. It's about catching quantities of bugs, I assume, but definitely was about bug-catching.

Day 17, and I didn't really do much except collecting fruit and meeting Isabelle.

Day 18 is pretty interesting. Cleaning up my mail. Forgot the mail saving stuff exists, so I just trashed the first 12 mails instead of just sending them to the post office to save. Also screenshotted each mail. Collected all new mails. One from Hippeux is the most significant: it's a wardrobe! It's a great vault, and it changes everything I do. Significantly. Also picked lots of fruit. Also traded yet another mosquito for another item. I collect mosquitoes all the time, and it's nuts how much value I get off these things. Sent more mail to a few others: 9 apples for Simon and 1 net for Goose.

Day 19 (8th August 2020) was when I experimented with streaming on Twitch. I stream on twitch.tv/qwertyxp2000 with the app OBS, just like I had been doing when I first started screen recording on the new computer. Failed streaming at least three times before finally allowing replays of streams on my account like my favorite streamer "ISAB". This new streaming stuff was interesting. I also reworked my interior with a more library look, thanks to that new wallpaper I got. Tiffany visited my house at 3pm, after starting a short meeting at 2:15pm or so. Learned to orient the direction of my interior perspective. More selling fruit and bug catching and selling bugs. Planting more bananas too.

Now I just got to fill up my bank again in case I need more emergency funds. Selling high and buying low is the deal here, at least until I have to put up with the new Nookling "upgrade".

Mr Resetti Fan-Made Quotes

Mr Resetti Grammar Corrections (fan-made)

  • It's pronounced "library", not "libary". You don't go to a library to pick fruit. The library is a building that has books! You read them, not scoff them.
  • You know that actor who played as Sherlock Holmes since the 2010s? It's Benedict Cumberbatch, not Cumberpatch. He's not a garden where you grow cucumbers.
  • It's "Arctic" not "Artic". There are two letter "c"s in this word. The first "c" is clearly visible. Got it?
  • The second month of the year is "February". People these days just skip the first letter "r". That's just ridiculous.
  • It is important to use proper pronunciation. Note that I actually pronounced the last word correctly. Yes, you heard "pronunciation" and "pronounce", didn't ya? [surprised face] You did? [back to normal] You read those words as written.
  • You know, when I was at university, I was reading some of Shakespeare's famous plays. It took me a little while trying to figure out how to spell his name correctly, but then I figured out a little trick. "Shake" plus "spear" plus the letter "e". Easy peasy? Sure.
  • You seem a little quiet today. That's fine, as long as you were patiently listening to me. I think you did quite well today by taking your time to listen to my important advice. But every week, I always hear people confuse "quiet" and "quite" a lot. It hurts like dirt! It sounds so different that it bugs me whenever people get those two mixed up!
  • After finishing your vegetables, you would likely want to eat a nice rewarding sweet dish afterwards. But would you like to eat sand dunes? No way, it tastes like coarse dirt! That sweet dish is called a "dessert" not a "desert".
  • Homophones are two same-sounding words that are pronounced the same but are spelled differently. The English language is crazy these days, and everyone else seems too lazy to get their words right. And then they mix up words! Urrk! I wish I could teach everyone else how to speak correctly, but I'm stuck with lecturing you against the ideas of resetting and the importance of saving your game.
  • Pen and paper are important tools for general communication, especially for writing letters to your fellow residents. They are the most important stationery that you will ever need. [surprised face] What's that? Are you still standing still? [back to normal] Don't be stationary, go get moving! Maybe buy some stationery and write some letters to any of your residents.
  • I bet you love it whenever you catch a tuna. Or was that a tuna fish? I always call it "tuna" because tuna is already a type of fish. I don't see why I would have to make a specific distinction between the food and the fish if everyone understands the difference either way.
  • Feeling a little ill today? Or was it that you are feeling a little "sick"? Not sure, but I find it hard to tell whether you meant you are physically unwell or whether your mind has gone crazy. Either way, maybe do a little exercise will ya?

Selecting "My Batteries Died"

This is when after the first warning after Reset Surveillance Center is built.

Second Time
So, your batteries went kaput again, huh?
Do us both a favor. Try to keep 'em charged. Keep an eye on 'em at all times, OK?
Remember what I said about that little request between me and you? It's about looking after your batteries.
Make sure you remember what I said. See ya 'round.
Third Time
Your batteries went kaput again, huh? Really? Are your batteries okay?
Please keep 'em charged. Keep an eye on 'em at all times, OK?
As long as you keep these batteries charged well, then we're both happy, right?
It is a very important request between me and you. See ya 'round.
Fourth Time
Hmph, your batteries went kaput again? Not again...
I would like to tell you the importance of keeping your batteries charged.
You know back then, batteries were pretty good. They could run your device for weeks.
But nowadays, batteries just drain so darn fast that I can't stop to think about the battery levels in any of my batteries!
Please keep your batteries charged. Keep an eye on 'em at all times, OK?
If you can keep an eye on 'em at all times, we don't have to waste each others' times, right?
Check your batteries at all times, got it?
By the way, if the battery is red, your battery should be fed.
OK then. I'll see ya later.
Fifth Time
Oh really? Again? Your batteries? This is getting serious.
Your batteries are very important! If you don't watch ya batteries, all your progress you had made will be all gone, poof!
If your device's LED is red, make sure your battery is fed.
Or, if you don't bother looking at those little lights, there's an icon of a battery too!
It can also turn red whenever the battery is low.
And save your game first! It will save you lots of time in the long run.
Actually, press "Save and Quit" instead, to be perfect.
I don't want to have to say this again, but batteries just drain so darn fast nowadays, it bugs me every time!
Please keep your batteries charged. Keep an eye on 'em at all times, OK?
If you can keep an eye on 'em at all times, we don't have to waste each others' times, right?
This is very important, don't forget it!
Check your batteries at all times, got it?
I don't want to have to come again to remind you to check your batteries.
Do us both a favor. Charge ya batteries, and then we will both be happy.
See ya later.
Sixth Time
Seriously? Your batteries ran out of juice? Grr...
You never appear to listen to my advice at all.
I told you many times about the importance of charging up your batteries, and you just didn't listen.
Charge your batteries! Save first before the batteries go red!
And press "Save and Quit" before charging, for crying out loud!
Look, I know you just want to play, but I ain't happy if you keep breaking our agreements.
What's the big deal about keeping promises? Oh, it is there to annoy you?
Try looking at the whole problem this way.
All your hard work you made? All the furniture you finally got? The fish you finally got? The bugs you caught?
It's gone. Because you broke our promise.
"Oh wait, what is that promise you are talking about? I don't get it."
Well listen up, [name], your batteries ran out of battery.
You promised me that you will keep an eye on your batteries at all times.
You did not do that though. That's disappointing. You can do better than this.
I will be watching you. I don't want to hear any more excuses about your batteries again.
You have been warned. See ya later.
Seventh Time (Variant A)
I thought so. Just give me a second. I'll be waiting for you!
[goes down then goes up]
WHAT?!
You can't be serious this time! YOUR BATTERIES?!?
You are just ticking me off every time I have to come and tell you what to do!
I told you many times to charge up your batteries! How long will it take you to learn?
All right then. Are you trying to be pain in the butt, aren't you?
I had told you to look after them batteries, ya little twerp. I did tell you. Grr!
Now that you have broken the promise too many times, I have had enough of forgiving this and that.
I warned ya that I would be watching!
I specifically said that I don't wanna be hearing any more excuses about your batteries again.
BUT YOU NEVER LISTENED!
"But wait, my batteries are acting stupid to me!"
I don't care. I did give you a lot of leeway to sort out issues regarding your batteries.
I gave you at least six times to sort out that issue, but you never cared about it.
"Why should I ever care about it? I just play for fun."
Try looking at the whole problem this way.
All your hard work you made? All the furniture you finally got? The fish you finally got? The bugs you caught?
It's gone. Because you did not look after your BATTERIES!
"Oh wait, I don't understand what you mean. I don't get it."
Caring for your batteries is caring for yourself, punk.
Listen, you'll never get your game progress back if you keep ignoring your batteries!
Please keep your batteries charged. Keep an eye on 'em at all times, OK?
If you can keep an eye on 'em at all times, I won't have to keep yammering on about your little batteries, right?
This is very important, DON'T FORGET IT!
You MUST check your batteries at all times, got it?
I don't want to have to come again to tell you off.
Do us both a favor. Charge ya batteries, and then we will both be happy.
I will be watching you. I don't want to hear any more excuses about those dumb little batteries again.
NOW SCRAM!
Seventh Time (Variant B)
Your batteries? AGAIN? Just give me a few seconds, OK? HERE WE GO!
[goes down then goes up]
YOU AGAIN?!
You and your ignorance to your batteries are making me angry!
Don't you ever listen to old Resetti and his useful advice?
I had enough. I ain't gonna tolerate any more excuses about your little battery nonsense.
I made an agreement with you to get sorted with your batteries, but what did you do?
You ignored me.
Now how does it feel to have to be scolded by ME? Feeling bad?
Does it waste your time needing me to tell you about this and that?
Of course you do. You've got a skull made of titanium or something.
There's just nothing I can do to get whatever I say through your thick skull.
I have no choice. No more Mr Nice Mole for you.
Please look after your batteries at all time. Watch them. WATCH THEM!
DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?
Batteries drain much faster than you can even comprehend what I scream at you!
Charge your batteries before they run out of juice! Charge them! CHARGE THEM!
For the love of dirt, check the light on your device's LED! If it's red, keep your battery fed!
You even have another indicator on the 3DS screen! Two visible reminders. What don't you get about them?
I gave you at least six times to sort out your batteries. I even gave you some helpful tips for ya!
You MUST check your batteries at all times, got it?
I don't want to have to come again to tell you off.
You can do far better than this. And don't tell me you'll make another excuse again.
Do us both a favor. Charge ya batteries, and then we will both be happy.
I will be watching you. I don't want to hear any more excuses about those dumb little batteries again.
NOW SCRAM!
Seventh Time (Variant C)
Did you actually do that, again? I did tell you many ways to look after your batteries.
I need you to wait a few seconds for me. I'LL BE READY FOR YA!
[goes down then goes up]
YOUR BATTERIES?!
I can't believe you and your batteries have failed to impress me. Terrible!
Don't you need some help with your batteries? I ain't no mechanic or somethin', but go get your batteries sorted.
Maybe your batteries are acting dumb for you or whatever, I don't care.
What I do care is that you save your game before your batteries become an issue!
Press "Save and Quit", and then deal with your batteries! Is it this hard for you?!
Look, I'm trying to be nice here, but you never listen to me!
I gave you at least six times to sort out your batteries, but you ignored it completely.
Because you are ignoring my advice, I have to take serious measures.
And you can clearly hear what I mean.
RIGHT?!
Don't ya need to get some hearing aids or something?
I mean, I might gonna need to get some myself, but I can at least hear some words fully.
You there, look at me. Yes, you.
There are two indicators that show your device's battery levels. On your 3DS screen, and on your 3DS itself!
The fact that they are clearly visible is just a big shame for you.
They are clearly visible! Visible! VISIBLE!
Use your eyes. They are right on your forehead. Use them!
Your eyes ain't there to just look cool or cute or whatever it is.
Your eyes are there to look at important stuff! To see when there's trouble.
And you should save your game always, especially before the battery turns red!
Press "Save and Quit", and then deal with your batteries! Is it this hard for you?!
Listen ya little punk, caring for your batteries is caring for yourself!
You MUST check your batteries at all times, got it?
I don't want to have to come again to tell you off.
You can do far better than this. And don't tell me you'll make another excuse again.

Seventh Time (Don Variant)
Ah... The batteries ran out on ya, huh?
Ya know, Sonny has this thing where he yells and lectures and gets all carried away.
He doesn't usually get annoyed with battery issues, but he just seems to be having a bad day today.
But, ya know, and, yeah, this is coming from his brother, he ain't a bad mole. So give him a break, OK?
Anyways, I gotta tell ya what I was meant to say about those batteries of yours.
I hate to trouble ya, pal, but do us all a favor and charge those puppies in advance, OK?
Thanks for your cooperation. Great. Uh...see ya!

Selecting "I don't remember"

This is when after the first warning after Reset Surveillance Center is built.

Second Time
Ya really don't remember a thing? Huh...
Well, I dunno how I can help with that. How I remember my stuff might not be the same is how you remember yours.
Maybe write down whatever you do? Not sure.
Anyways, I ain't no detective or nuthin', so I got no clues. Sorry to interrupt your day.
Third Time
Huh? What's that? You don't remember?
Sometimes when I get up and dig all the way up here and back over there at the Reset Surveillance Center...
I end up forgettin' what I was supposed to do. It's bothering me all the time!
And then I have to spend all that time just thinking about what I was thinking...
By the way, I don't wanna make you forget what you were gonna do.
But there's one thing I don't want you to forget...
Remember to save your game! It's the most important thing to remember!
Anyways, have fun with the rest of the day/night.
Fourth Time
Wait a second, ya don't remember? Not even a single thing? Something's not right...
Perhaps you might need to have a nap or somethin'. Perhaps rest your head or something.
A good night's sleep might be whatcha need. Stayin' up late is for chumps.
Y'know why I tell ya about sleep? 'Cos every time I have to get up to tell off someone...
I end up needin' a get-up every time! Always those flashing red warning lights and noises!
Urrgh, someone forgettin' this and that... Grr... It bugs me everytime.
But I always remember to bring my pickaxe to dig my way to whoever I need to get to and scoff at them.
Sleep has been going downhill every time I have to do that work, but who else will gonna stop them resets?
Oh wait a sec...
You there, listen up. Did you actually try to make an effort to save your game before quitting?
Think you've fooled ol' Resetti? Don't you think so? Well you can't fool me.
Your pressing that "I don't remember" button is beginning to become a pattern.
Every time I ask you what happened, you always say you "don't remember". Why?
And I ain't gonna tolerate any excuses! Are you tryna fool me with that little response of yours?
I can see through lies! I can sense when someone really tells the truth or not.
Someone had brought the Reset Surveillance Center back, and now you can't stop me now!
"Oh I didn't know that." Yeah, you should've remembered me the first time you forgot to save your game.
All right then. Go out there and do whatever you wanted to do today. Goodbye for now.
Fifth Time
Hmph, can you even remember anything? Still awake?
I would like a serious word with you. Your actions, they are not acceptable.
You're supposed to press "Save and Quit". Pretty sure some folk told ya this trick already.
What? You still don't remember it?
Press "Start" and then you will be able to see a "Save and Quit" button at the top.
Looks simple to remember right? Well, I can't believe you forgotten all that.
The way you approach life? You better step yourself up. No more forgetting this or that.
You will now go remember to save your game always before quitting.
I have enough of tolerating your little mistakes. Every little mistake can grow into horrible big ones.
And look where you are! You're going nowhere! Just standing here.
All because you forgotten to press "Save and Quit".
Doesn't that feel disappointing to hear?
Yeah... You better feel disappointed on yourself, 'cos I'll be very angry the next time excuse on your not remembering.
And you'll really regret that. I promise this will be the last time you will not remember, because if not...
You will see me REALLY angry. Don't tell me that you would try to fool me otherwise.
Fine... I will let you go early, but you have been warned! Goodbye for now.
Sixth Time
Are you SERIOUS? Can't you remember anything, huh?
Who goes around tellin' people "I don't remember". That sort of thing is disgraceful.
If your boss asked ya about what'ya did today, would you tell him "I don't remember"? Would you?
No, your boss would imply you're dim-witted. I'm beginning to doubt that you aren't though.
Remember what I said the last time you said "I don't remember"? Still remember?
"Save and Quit", sounds familiar, huh?
It should. But I bet this phrase did not catch in your mind.
I will just keep popping up until you remember to press "Save and Quit". I don't care if you hate it or not.
Rules are rules, and I just gotta enforce 'em. I always follow the rules, and so should you.
You might not like this policy, but it's life man. Ya gotta roll with them.
Hey! This reminds me. Do you know where you are going right now? Not sure?
Maybe planning to pay off debt? Or shopping for some cool stuff? Interesting stuff?
Or what about that cool event you've been hoping to go to today?
Well, to be frank I am wasting all that time off ya 'cos you forgot one key important thing.
If you were paying attention to me firsthand, you would've known by now what I meant. EH?
Ah what? What was that? You falling asleep? Didn't care a millipede what the heck ol' Resetti's sayin'?
UNACCEPTABLE! Get your head over here and listen! Don't stare off into space, idiot!
Press "Save and quit" before leaving! We clear!?
This is your last warning. I will be real tough on ya then next time regarding that "don't remember" rubbish.
You can leave now. Go back to your own business now.
Seventh Time (Variant A)
You've got the memory of a slug, don't ya?
Well, I gotta deal with slugs like you with my ol' workin' tricks.
Stay where you are, 'cos I'm gonna wipe you clean with my trusty wrath!
[goes down then goes up]
GRRAAAAGH!
Where on earth has your brain gone? Nowhere. You can't even find it!
You better clean up your act right now! You ain't even paying any attention to me!
Is this going to get you to listen now? 'Cos I ain't got no rights to force a formal talk to Isabelle about your nasty tricks!
Don't you go pressin' that switch-off button again! I know you wanna press it! I can feel it!
Is it worth getting this angry over you? Absolutely!
I gave you all my top-notch advice backed up by my best colleagues, but what did'ya do?
All ya did was just scoffed at it. Disgusting! Even a pig knows more manners than you!
Talking talking talking, yes, bla bla bla. Rambling on this and that...
Yes, clearly you see me as a nuisance, but I gotta sort out dirty little tricksters like you.
How does it feel if I were suddenly come up in the middle of a great event of yours and crushed it all up?
That's why we gotta sort out your resetting behaviour right now! Your current attitude is horrible!
Don't just go switch off the button on your 3DS. Go press "Save and Quit". Then do whatever you want.
Maybe just go press "Save and Quit" and go back to play New Leaf again?
Sure, whatever. Your choice.
In fact, you should keep playing New Leaf. But I can't tolerate your behavior right now.
Now to discuss how you responded to me...
<Abutton-response>
NOW SCRAM!

If tapping the A button none:

Okay then. You seem quieter than usual today. Hope your ears are still open for more discussion.
All righty then, where was I... Ah yes. I know. Bottom line:
Press "Save and Quit" before leaving the game. End of discussion.

If tapping the A button a few times:

What's that? The sound of tapping? Do my ears deceive me?
I heard <number> taps. I counted!
Stop tryin'ta speed up, little mosquito! I'm trying to talk to you!
Grr, when will you ever listen up?
Lemme discuss more about what to do next.
Oh, actually, I should just say it once and for all.
Press "Save and Quit" before leaving the game. End of discussion.

If tapping the A button lots of times:

Did I hear something? Could it be? That ghastly A button? The barrage of taps?
GRRRAAAAAAGH!
That noise! It irritates me! Are ya tryin' to dismiss me? I'm here to boss against your resettin' business!
You make the problems, you face the problems. What will it take you to finally understand the underlying problems with you!?
Press "Save and Quit" before quitting. How difficult is it to remember such a little sentence!?
Listen up punk, you better listen up to me right now! Your constant tapping is an utter disgrace!
I heard <number> taps. I counted, you crazed fool! <number>!
Grr, when will you ever listen up?
Decaying like a rotting fish your brain is? Ignorance is certainly helping to rot your brain faster.
I will have to say this one more time to you.
Press "Save and Quit" before leaving the game. It is very important! I'll repeat it again.
Press "Save and Quit" before leaving the game. Press "Save and Quit" before leaving the game.
Press "Save and Quit" before leaving the game. Press "Save and Quit" before leaving the game.
Is this getting in your head now? Huh? Better hope so.
Press "Save and Quit" before leaving the game. End of discussion.
Seventh Time (Variant B)
You there! Listen up, 'cos I'm gonna be tough on ya!
HERE WE GO!
[goes down then goes up]
[question emote] Oh wait, what was I gonna say again?
Oh... It's you...
IT'S YOU AGAIN!
PRESS "SAVE AND QUIT!" BEFORE LEAVING!
STOP FORGETTING!
What will it take for ya to understand my point?!
Hmm, I know why. I can tell that paying attention is a major weakness of yours.
It seems that your skull is as thick as a solid rock. Hopefully, I had rattled your head enough so that you'd listen to me.
Tell me again, why did you forget to save?
<forget-save-response>
Regardless of situation, whether you like it or not, you MUST press "Save and Quit"!
Press the start button and then a button that reads "Save and Quit" will pop up. Press it to make me happy.
It's not hard. Maybe you should try it yourself after this little talk with me, log back in, and then you'll be surprised at the results.
Or maybe you just wanna keep having me nag on about your little wrongdoings or whatever it is.
Your choice. You decide how I'm gonna treat ya.
And DON'T make me come back again. I'm warning ya.
<Abutton-response>
Right, off you go. I'm done with you today.
NOW SCRAM!

If pressed "I wanted a do-over":

Is that how you'd like to play the game, HUH? You think I'm happy with ya?
That's just like resettin' the game! Don't do that, you punk!
This is Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Forget about other games for a sec here.
For this game, I would like you to NOT reset the game.
If there's something unfortunate in this game, just live with it. You become stronger by learning from your mistakes!
Look at me. You made a big mistake to press that switch-off button.
GRRAAAAAGH!
Disgraceful! Disgusting! Useless little human. Haven't ya learned some manners, have ya?
If you hadn't learned how to press "Save and Quit", I'm gonna tell ya again!
Press the start button and then a button that reads "Save and Quit" will pop up. Press it to make me happy.
It's not hard. You're making it hard for me to shout every time I sense a do-over!
Stop resettin'. This resettin' business stops here!

If pressed "My batteries ran out":

Your batteries ran out? Please charge them before they go red.
There are two indicators on this device: a battery indicator on your 3DS and a battery icon inside your 3DS!
Take your pick. Whichever works for you. As long as you remember to charge your batteries!
It's tough tryin' to charge 'em batteries quickly. Back then, batteries used to last a long time.
Nowadays they run out of juice as quick as a worm could be slurped up by a bird!
Charge your batteries regularly, okay?

If pressed "I am feeling upset":

That sucks. Don't ya think taking a deep breath would help?
Aww, did I hurt you a little too much? Maybe it would be nicer if I just didn't pop up and upset you further?
But seriously. It's my job to boss around against nasty saving tricks. Who else would halt this form of anarchy?
Only me. I am trying to keep you happy by teaching you valuable lessons.
And that lesson is to press "Save and Quit". Embrace the good and the bad. And the ugly too.
Life is tough. But it's far easier in this world than it is outside this game!
I might sound crazy, but isn't it much more relaxing to catch bugs and fish with the push of some buttons than it is to wash your dishes every single day?
Or maybe tidying your bed? Your bed is always tidy in this game. It never gets messy. You'd always will feel comfy.
What about the lack of homework? Maybe doing errands with fellow villagers is better than writing up essays, math exercises, or whatnot.

If tapping the A button none:

Okay then. You seem quieter than usual today. Hope your ears are still open for more discussion.
All righty then, where was I... Ah yes. I know. Bottom line:
Press "Save and Quit" before leaving the game. End of discussion.

Giving player his picture

When the player has been at least 100 days in town without any resets in between, although the days of logging in do not have to be consecutive
Surprise! Guess who's back?
Oh hey, it's me, Mr. Resetti. Recognized me, right? I believe so.
Don't worry, <name>, I am not tellin' ya off today. I'm here to thank you for being a good boy/girl.
You have made everyone in the whole town proud, including me.
And because of this, I present a special gift to ya.
<present-handling>

If player has pocket space:

[gives player his picture as a present]
It's got a picture of me! Yours to keep.
By the way, keep up the good work, and see ya.

If player doesn't have pocket space:

Hey <name>, your pockets are full. Looks like I gotta post this gift by mail...
Just to let you know, I expect this gift to arrive in your mailbox by tomorrow.
This present has got a picture of me! Yours to keep.
Make sure your mailbox has space for my post. Otherwise it will never arrive to ya.
I ain't gonna pay extra to send ya another one. It's your one and only chance to get a gift from me.
By the way, keep up the good work, and see ya.

Fan-Made Characters

Winslow

Winslow is a jock dog. He is a black-and-tan German shepherd dog. His birthday is June 26th. His name is likely inspired by The Power of the Dog, as his initial catchphrase "officer" refers to policing stuff. The fact that his personality is similar to Mac could be a correspondence to the operating system Microsoft Windows. He has a fitness hobby. His house is modern-themed, and his house interior has mostly items from the modern series, alongside a select number of electronics items.

Fredrick

(Was originally going to call him "Ferguson", but "Ferguson riots" exists... Curses.)

Fredrick is a sea lion who was first introduced to New Horizons. He is the son of Phineas. He tells the player that his father is a generous person, and he is also doing his part to help. Both Fredrick and Phineas like to give away free stuff on reasonable weather conditions.

You can guess how I came up with that name...
