The Venus Flower Basket is a benthic creature, first appearing in New Horizons. It appears all day, but most frequently between 9pm and 4am.

Upon donation or selecting "Tell me more about this!", Blathers the curator will say:
"The Venus' flower basket looks like an otherworldly creature one would find on an alien planet. But it is instead a remarkable sea sponge found in the deepest parts of the ocean. Its body is composed of silica and looks like a sculpture or, perhaps, a vase made of glassy mesh. I daresay Venus' flower basket is one of nature's most impressive works of art."
Once donated Venus' flower basket will appear in the Deep Sea tank.
