A player can press the ZL button to use the phone. The initial apps on the phone include: the in-game camera, Nook Miles, Map, Rescue Services, and Passport.Other apps players can obtain during their stay on the island include: DIY Recipes, Call Islander; option to host another Deserted Island resident via local co-op, Critterpedia, Island Designer, and more.The NookPhone is able to be customized after the player learns how to customize from Tom Nook. It requires a kit you have to redeem (via Nook Miles) from NookStop.
